Concerning those murders, many have said that "Christians" have murdered just like the jihadists, such as in the Crusades of medieval times. That statement is false. State control, wars, Romanism, Inquistitions, etc. are of man, and not of Christ or His church. Scriptural Christians are neither Roman Catholic nor Protestant Denominational nor Jewish - they are simply Christians, members of the church of Christ. Rarely, some individual Christian (or pretender) may go off or go crazy or get filled with Satan, then commit or conspire murder. But there never has been and never will be any movement of Christians that murder in God's name because that is inherently antichrist.
The gospel, and the general church of Christ, are neither from man nor of man (see Galatians 1:10-12). That is why the small "c." Just like the one body / one church we read of in the Bible ( Eph. 1:22-23; Matt. 16:18; Rom. 16:16; Heb. 12:23; 1 Cor. 12: 12-13), the “church” is special by divine authority because it is from God and of Christ. It is not a denomination of men, but rather God established it the church of Christ, and Christians as those so “in Christ” (Eph. 1:3,10). Good manners, home-training, and knowing how to reason with logic, are being sorely missed when terror erupts in the marketplace of thoughts and words. As I stated in 1-church of Christ Unveils Jihad, in fair fight the strong do well, but in dirty fight the strong had better be wise (enlightened, prepared) to stay free. This is not only a matter of civility, but also of so- called “Christian”and “Muslim” people not being what they claim to be. Then they use deception and force as a cover. While I fully expect decent people to be civil in disagreement, many students today are brainwashed. And they would use name- calling, doublespeak and deception against those who expose them.. Nevertheless, jihad must be exposed, or unveiled. The identity of the church and of Christians, and the honest defense of good over evil, will prevail. In Matthew 7:15 Jesus said: "Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves."
