1 CORINTHIANS 12:12,20 "...that one body ... yet but one body…"
If the church is Christ’s body, and if there is but one body, then there is but
one church. To illustrate: Let’s say a shopper is sent to the store for “2
honeydew melons, and 2 cantaloupes, but one watermelon.” Has the order
been obeyed if 2 watermelons are bought? What if all the store clerks
come out pushing carts with 30, 40, or 50 watermelons? So neither can
men justify 2000 denominations, or 200 or even 2 denominations. When 1
CORINTHIANS 12:20 says “but one” body, that means only one. PSALMS
127:1 "Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it."
MATTHEW 15:13 "Every plant, which my heavenly Father hath not
planted, shall be rooted up." EPHESIANS 5:23 "And He is the Savior of
the body." (not many) 1 TIMOTHY 3:15 - The Lord’s house is His church.
He is not a polygamist. ACTS 2:47- All the saved are added by the Lord to
His church. All those outside the Lord and His body are lost. To be saved
from sin you must be in, but one church of Christ.
